Snowball Launcher

Admit it:  during the cold winter months when snow lays heavy on the ground and the hunting is sparse, you’re itching to get a little bow action but there seems no where to turn.  How about trying a crossbow snow ball launcher?  I know, it’s nothing compared to the thrill of tracking your prey through the shrouded woods and scoring a big kill — but imagine stalking your buddies with a crossbow that can hurl snowballs.  What could beat that?

Here is a video from the guys at ThinkGeek demonstrating the snowball launching crossbow in action.  Although they are short on snow, they’ve found a creative work-around involving yummy snack cakes.  I wouldn’t recommend buying those little snowball cakes and using them instead of real snow, however, because the stickiness could cause the weapon to misfire, or damage its inner mechanisms.  Since we are entering the coldest part of the year, you probably won’t have long to wait for the real stuff anyway.
